To mark the occasion of International Women’s Day 2023, Sharon Buteau, Executive Director, LEAD at Krea University and Preethi Rao, Associate Director, LEAD at Krea University were part of an event organised by Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust to recognise exemplary women entrepreneurs for their contributions. While Sharon Buteau along with other leaders and stakeholders from the micro-enterprises space launched a ‘Green Business Idea Contest’ to motivate women entrepreneurs from underprivileged communities of Tamil Nadu & across India to pursue entrepreneurship, Preethi Rao shared her thoughts in a panel discussion on Breaking Barriers: Fostering Women Leadership along with other senior experts.
