About the Role:

The successful candidate will contribute to a research project:¬†‚ÄúMobility during the Covid-19 Pandemic using Cell Phone Data‚ÄĚ,¬†under the guidance of¬†Dr. Rohan Gudibande¬†(Faculty of Economics, Krea University) and LEAD. The project seeks to compile big data (up to 1 TB) using automation for rigorous econometric and statistical analysis.¬†Please note this is a paid position.

Background and Qualifications: 

  • A Master‚Äôs or Bachelor‚Äôs degree in engineering or related field (s) with substantial training in Data Science, Information Systems and/or Computational Sciences.¬†
  • The selected candidate should be familiar with using Python at an advanced level.
  • The selected candidate should be familiar with Machine Learning algorithms for automation and/ or Big Data Management.¬†
  • It is desirable if the selected candidate is familiar with Geospatial Analysis using Python.
  • It is desirable if the selected candidate is familiar with statistical modelling using R or STATA.
