The India-Oxford Initiative (IndOx) at the University of Oxford under its collaboration with LEAD organised an insights round table on the impact of the ongoing COVID pandemic.
The round table gathered academics and experts from leading research agencies to present evidence and insights on the impact of COVID in the areas of Mental Health, Migration, Gender and Digital Media Consumption.
Research Fellow, Sapna Nair, co-presented a knowledge paper on COVID-19’s impact on mental health service providers. The presentation was showcased learnings from an ongoing collaborative study between LEAD and Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF) India. The study explores the rise in mental health issues as an area of increasing concern in public health as a result of COVID-19.
