About the Role:
The successful candidate will contribute to a research project: “Mobility during the Covid-19 Pandemic using Cell Phone Data”, under the guidance of Dr. Rohan Gudibande (Faculty of Economics, Krea University) and LEAD. The project seeks to compile big data (up to 1 TB) using automation for rigorous econometric and statistical analysis. Please note this is a paid position.
Background and Qualifications:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (s) with substantial training in Data Science, Information Systems and/or Computational Sciences.
- The selected candidate should be familiar with using Python at an advanced level.
- The selected candidate should be familiar with Machine Learning algorithms for automation and/ or Big Data Management.
- It is desirable if the selected candidate is familiar with Geospatial Analysis using Python.
- It is desirable if the selected candidate is familiar with statistical modelling using R or STATA.
