This report focuses on assessing the prevailing socioeconomic conditions in the tribal region of India highlighting the economic conditions of inhabitants, community structure and infrastructure, demographic conditions, livelihood strategies of tribal inhabitants, and condition of women. The report begins with the demographic information of the study region. Further, the report is divided into five key chapters:
1) Literacy and Education II) Health and Hygiene, III) Livelihoods, IV) Domestic Violence and Intra Household ResourceAllocation, and V) Social Institutions and Government Schemes. The report concludes with possible recommendations for future interventions and further research areas.
