Shambhavi Srivastava is a Research Manager at IFMR-Lead (India). In her role as a Manager, she heads policy-oriented research and impact studies on various aspects of financial inclusion (FI). Her focus areas lie within the intersection of FI and livelihoods, credit, and mainstreaming gender. Additionally, she writes policy publications, and conducts outreach with policymakers to disseminate evidence from the study evaluations. Prior to joining IFMR-Lead, Shambhavi worked with the Centre for Disease Control in Vancouver, Canada on an immigrant health policy project financed by the Canadian government aiming to improve health systems for new-comer immigrant women. Shambhavi has also experience in working on academic research projects, and has worked in the areas of immigration, health, gender and youth identities previously. She holds a M.A degree in Human Geography from University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada) and a Master Degree in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, India.
