Nikkil Sudharsanan

Senior Research Fellow

Nikkil is a Senior Research Fellow with IFMR LEAD and is currently leading a series of public health research projects. He is a David E. Bell Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Nikkil’s research goals are to identify health policy priorities in aging low and middle-income countries and develop and evaluate policies designed to improve longevity and reduce the economic burden of poor health. Nikkil has a background in the population sciences with specific training in demography, epidemiology, and health economics. Nikkil holds a Ph.D. in Demography and an M.A. in Statistics from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.P.H. in Global Health from Emory University, and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
