CLEAR (Regional Centres for Learning on Evaluation and Results) is a global initiative coordinated by the World Bank’s Independent Evaluation Group aimed at strengthening monitoring and evaluation (M&E) capacity in developing countries. The initiative is supported by several donors and has regional centres in Anglophone Africa, Francophone Africa, East Asia, Latin America, and South Asia.
The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), South Asia at IFMR LEAD has hosted the CLEAR South Asia Regional Centre since May 2011. CLEAR South Asia works to build capacity in the region for better monitoring, primary data collection, and rigorous evaluation of ongoing programs through training, advisory services, and applied research. The Centre’s clients include the Indian government, NGOs, civil society organizations, foundations, academics, and multilateral organizations.
The Centre delivers high quality M&E capacity building services, including training workshops, specialized technical advisory services, and knowledge sharing activities. To learn more about the CLEAR South Asia Regional Centre, please visit http://www.clearsouthasia.org/
